A Haunting In Connecticut is based on a true story! That is of course, until you get towards the middle. Than Hollywood rears it's ugly head into this PG-13 flick and fucks the audience with a typical girls night horror movie garbage.
This movie had a few good scares and tense moments in the first half of the movie. Don’t ask me what happened in the second half. I guess when the writers ran out of truth to tell they filled it with what should have been in an episode of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”.
This movie was about a kid with cancer who can see crazy shit. Because apparently when your house was a former funeral home, and you’re about to die, crazy ass ghosts seeking help want to visit. So what do you do? Tell them to fuck off and burn the house to the ground.
You know what really scares me? The fact I can see them making a prequel.
