Taken

Taken is a film about a retired spy who plunges back into action in order to rescue his daughter who has become a victim of a foreign sex trafficking ring.

Well, Consider taken one of the best films to come out last year. This film is amazing. Yet it suffers from one problem: The acting and direction of the daughter the film centers around.

Yea, shes cute but you know who wrote her character? Someone who has never encountered a good looking 17 year old girl in there entire life. You have to see the jacket that became her fathers biggest clue into her disappearance. It was so ridiculous that it actually ruined parts of the film for me.

That jacket is something the salvation army would have turned down in 1981. This girl comes from money, got a fucking horse for her birthday and yet feels like the need to buy clothes from osh kosh.

Also, This chick is in the movie for three scenes. How come everyone of them has her running like an autistic kid in a toys r us? Her running made Gumby look like a Kenyan in the special Olympics.

But I guess if this all I can find to complain about... I'd give this film an 8 out of 10.

Oh yea, And here is my vote for at least one 007 film starring Liam Neeson.
